On a recent trip to Japan w/ HNY, I came across a trend that I thought was only exclusive to the artistic movers (aka dancers) on So You Think You Can Dance. Whats the TrendSpot? Its the, what I’ll call, the Very Low V-Neck Shirt. Although the low v-neck look was first thought to be stylish in women and dancers, men are starting to sport the cleavage chest revealing V-Neck. For women, its considered stylish. But for men? It is stylish, but is it masculine enough? That may not matter as the trend has sinced moved from the dance studio – to all over Europe and Japan.

Which leaves me wondering if this Extremely Low V-Neck Shirt trend will hit US mainstream. The style has already been seen in S. Korean pop culture via Wheesung, so it may only be a matter of time before we see it here in the States. Or, maybe its here already. Again, have you ever seen an episode of So You Think You Can Dance?

I’ve put on a couple of these Very Low V-Neck Shirts in hopes that I could pull off the style, but alas, I came to the conclusion that it probably looks better on a skinnier guy. Or, so HNY tells me. Good thing I’m working out like hell! Then I can revisit the Very Low V-Neck Shirt Trend, or quite possibly, a style on the way? We’ll see. In the meantime, I’ll just put the shirt underneath.
