This week I will be doing something a little bit different. The Topic: MONEY! I have a cousin that is off to college and I felt compelled to talk about the importance of money during your college career. Habits formed during this time also has an affect on the rest of your life, so now is a good time as any to start good habits! Besides, in college, doesn’t everyone need more of the green? I hope to show you how!

Today’s Money Basics may seem counter-intuitive when it comes to money, but its vital in keeping up with the mental stress that comes with money. What is it? The answer is simple – YOU NEED A BREAK! A break from saving, cutting debt, a break from worrying about money. And just how do you do this? By rewarding yourself from time to time.
Progress is best rewarded incrementally. Meaning, you have to give yourself little rewards for all the little accomplishments you have made. So, what that means is that you “BREAK” yourself from the money mental stress. How? Go out and enjoy a dinner, watch a movie, or buy that item you have been jonesin’ for. If you BREAK yourself time to time from the money mental stress, you will realize larger, YES LARGER gains over time. Why? Quite simply: YOU SEE IMMEDIATE RESULTS WHEN REWARDING YOURSELF. And that continuous rewarding will encourage you to work harder to accomplish future goals. Its the motivation YOU NEED to get things done!
And this applies to every facet of your life. Best believe! Another BREAK TIME reward? Buy and listen to some music! We enjoy BOB MARLEY.
