San Francisco, CA – In what had to be the most intense 90:00 minutes of play in a Friendly Exhibition, FC Barcelona and Chivas de Guadalajara concluded the futbol match Saturday night at Candlestick Park in a draw. Score 1-1.

In an effort to spread the good name of Soccer around the Globe, World-Class teams ventured to the Americas to solidify the concept that – futbol is a WORLD SPORT. In true to good form, the Bay Area got a slaptaste in the mouth of what Soccer Fandemonium really is like. I’ve worked at Candlestick Park during 49′er football season, and all I can say is that, “Damn! And I thought football fans were insane!”

The Friendly Exhibition game held at Candlestick Park against these two powerhouses holds a special place in my heart as it marks the very first futbol match I have ever witnessed.Thanks to Cuzn KJB, of course! And after having left the game, the only thought that comes to mind is – Soccer is HAUTE AZIFUG! The crowd, the aura and spirit of the game, the anticipation of GOAL, and the players themselves – it really is an unique experience different than any other sporting event I have EVAR attended. So does that make me a fan? You betcha! Viva el futbol!!!

Yup, fortunately I came equipped w/ a Sigma 50-150mm lens w/ an aperture of f/2.8. Although, NEXT GAME, I plan to go with something more powerful. Maybe come equipped w/ a 300mm f/2.8 ?!?!
