Not to be outdone by the fellas, 2009 proved to be a phenom year for the lovely, Asian American Actresses in US entertainment.

Putting together these Top 10’s list of Asian American Entertainers, however, is admittedly a bit of a challenge. Even just searching for the ladies, is a difficult task! That’s why some Actresses listed are actresses from outside the US, and many still fulfill the role of “Dragon Lady,” and “Asian Seductress.” Fortunately, the stage and landscape in US mainstream entertainment is changing. The Ladies have also embraced a “new” role in Hollywood. The more universal roles, more human roles, and roles calling for an Asian Actress. And now, lets make room for the Ladies…
