I’m a practical guy. On my iPhone, I’ve got Apps that help me become more productive. Got the WordPress App, Photoshop Mobile, USTREAM Broadcaster, Twitter and blah, blah… Ya, I know. Boring. Hunny K, on the other hand, seems to have a firm grasp on what’s fun. Recently, she discovered the Talking Carl App and decided to give it a whirl. Aside from the usual *tickle and *ouch responses you’d get by interacting with the App (as shown from the video above) its got one pretty Funi feature…

Let’s take ourselves back. Back to when we were kids. Do you remember playing this game:

You: Hey! How are you doing?
Me: Hey! How are you doing?
You: What do you want to do today?
Me: What do you want to do today?
You: Hey, cut it out! That’s annoying!
Me: Hey, cut it out! That’s annoying!
You: Forget you. I’m leaving!
Me: Forget you. I’m…hey I was just kidding!

Pretty annoying, right? And I bet some of you still do it to this day. Well, thanfully Talking Carl isn’t annoying like that. Although he will repeat whatever you say (to a certain extent) the entertainment value lies in HOW he repeats back what you say. And what exactly does Talking Carl repeat? EVERYTHING! We started mouthing off phrases like “Hello” and “My name is…,” and to our delight he repeated it in a chipmunk-esque tone. Phrase after phrase, repeat after repeat, we were thorougly impressed with the App. We couldn’t stop laughing! But what happens to Talking Carl when “it” (?) hears our rioutous laughter? Repeat laughter! Go through that whole cycle for about a good hour and let’s just say it was the best buck we’ve (she’s) ever spent. Too Funi…
