In an article I read on MSNBC.com called Bad behavior? Blame the Internet!, suggests that the Internet is turning us more into a less civilized Society. A society prone to a people with less morals, rampant stealing, and just plain idiocy. After reading the article I thought to myself, “Is this true? Is this leading to the decay of Modern Civilization?” The Cause-Effect: peoples Privacy being compromised, the reason why Piracy is tolerated, and a host of other possibilities… Will the World ever be the same?

As you can clearly see from the image above, Privacy is a BIG Internet issue. So much so that the measures taken to protect Privacy – are abundant. Encryption, password protection, and ReCaptcha methods ensure that the Internet stays safe and Private. However, I could pobably do without that sweater-viewer…

Piracy is another problem plaguing the Internet. And just the mere thought of Anti-Piracy reminds me of my 3.5 Floppy disk game playin days. Anyone remember the “Security Word?” The one where turning to pg. 118, line 21, word 8 would grant you access to playing Leisure Suit Larry King’s Quest? Pretty effective way of preventing Piracy, right? Some other edfective/wacky/funny methods: Wacky copy protection methods from the good old days. The Internet, a Free platform, allows many Freedoms for all. However, there are responsibilities for all and we should all be held accountable for our Internet actions. What measures are YOU taking to ensure that your Private Information remains so, and that you remain civilized in a Techno-Advanced World?
