Looking for a stylus that has a finer point than the thicker nubs currently on the market? Like seriously, I can’t even see what I’m writing sometimes. Introducing the Jot Script by Evernote and Adonit. The Jot Script is a 1.9 mm fine tip stylus that looks and feels like a pen and works in conjunction with the Penultimate app for your Apple iPad to deliver a unique writing experience.
A wise man once said that in regards to tablets, “If you see a stylus, they blew it.” Now, that’s true to a certain extent, but when it comes to fundamental writing activities on electronic devices like handwriting and drawing, a finger can only do so much. And quite frankly, the feel of writing can’t be beat. The Jot Script is a modern take to a traditional medium. Is it useful? You bet.
The Jot Script looks and feels like a pen and is made from aluminum and armed with a ribbed grip. The good thing about this stylus is that it also accepts one (1) AAA removable battery. That means its durability should last longer than the life of its battery. And then some. Alternatively, that also means that for a stylus, continued use is gonna be costly. Which brings me to my next point…
It’s pricey. Street price: ($75). And honestly, there are a lot of other stylus out there for way less money, but none can compare right now to the features of the Jot Script.
