If you’ve got a pair of jeans on, there is a good chance you’re probably wearing Levi’s®. Or, at the very least, wearing jeans inspired by Levi’s most signature denim pant. Levi’s has a long-standing history here in the Bay Area and has been around for a long time. The story goes: Levi’s was founded in 1853 when Levi Strauss came from Buttenheim, Bavaria, to San Francisco, California to open a west coast branch of his brothers’ New York dry goods business. One thing lead to another and in 1873, Levi Strauss and tailor Jacob Davis received a U.S. patent to make the first riveted men’s work pants out of denim: the first blue jeans.
Since then, Levi’s is still going strong for over a century and have released the new 2013 Spring/Summer line: a look of natural colors, prints, and patterns, discovered and inspired by a trip to India, serves as the foundation for this collection.Wiki]
