Movie Review | On and on ’til the Break of Dawn – part deux

Twilight Saga | Breaking Dawn part 2 is the fifth and final installment of the Twilight Saga film series, based on Stephenie Meyer’s novel of the same name. What are my thoughts on the film? Let’s find out:

Overall, what did you think?

I thought it was good. I really liked it. I thought it was probably the best movie out of all the movie series. Impressive cinematography, the growth in acting by leaps in bounds (*note: I am not a tween), closing the book on a popular movie series, and an epic fight scene. In short, the Twilight Series out with a bang!

On a scale of 1-5, how would you rate this film?

4 out of 5. I will admit it was good, but not 5 out of 5 good. Come on, now…

Was the story clear?

Yes, but I’m a little biased though because I read the book. Well, actually I had Hunny K provide me with all the succulent parts from the books.

Did you identify with any of the characters?

With rock hard abs and fabulous pecs, I can most definitely identify with Jacob. Or, the way Edward & Bella love each other – a passionate, undying love. Or, perhaps its Jasper that I identify with most, who thinks Alice is so. Amazingly. HOT. Go #TeamAlice!

Did it remind you of any other film?

Not even the previous films can hold a candle to the last installment of the Twilight Saga. The reason for this: the most epic fight that…SPOILER ALERT!!!never really happened. In the books, this epic battle was merely hinted at. But in the film, the most epic fight scene to ever happen in the movie (which was magnificently shot I might add) perhaps saved the entire film from nit-picky naysayers, and propelled the movie series to certifiable box office immortality.

Who would you recommend this film to?

Are you a cold-blooded fan of #TeamEdward? Or does your blood boil whenever #TeamJacob takes off the tee? #TeamBella? Or, perhaps a Twi-hard? Personally, I’ve got a Jasper-type love for #TeamAlice. Which reminds me, even non-believers of the Twilight Series would enjoy this movie.

Would you buy this movie on DVD?

Yes, but in reality. No. Because in reality, I’d buy the entire movie set whenever it becomes available!

What did you think of the final film? Let us know in the comments!
