Deadpool #??L is a tale of Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds) – a former Special Forces operative who now works as a mercenary. His world comes crashing down when evil scientist Ajax “Francis!” (Ed Skrein) tortures, disfigures and transforms him into Deadpool. The rogue experiment leaves Deadpool with accelerated healing powers and a twisted sense of humor. With help from mutant allies Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead (Brianna Hildebrand), Deadpool uses his new skills to hunt down the man who nearly destroyed his life. What did I think about the film? Let’s find out in this #nospoiler review and let us know what you thought in the comments!
Overall, what did you think?
Deadpool was extremely violent, dark in humor, and had a f-bombs and other expletives… the complete opposite of the superhero movies I’m used to. That’s the reason why I LIKED it so much! But don’t get me wrong, its not all action. I’m sure there was a love story in there. Somewhere.
UPDATE: Looks like I’m not alone. At the time of this writing, Deadpool is not only killing it at the Box Office, its grossing a sh!tload of cash to boot.
On a scale of 1-5, how would you rate this film?
5 out of 5!
Did you identify with any of the characters?
I’ve never had to personally face adversities they way Wade Wilson did, but if there were anything I could identify with his character in the movie, it would be the *womp womp love we possess for our special woman. That, and playing the game of who had it worst (disclaimer: my life wasn’t all that bad).
Who would you recommend this film to?
You. And your Mom. Go watch it! Oh, and do you like Ryan Reynolds? Then, go WATCH IT! Oh, and go check out the origin story of how this film was made. Its a good read.
