Why we like RunKeeper
There are a lot of running Apps out there that typically do the same thing, but none offer the amount of features that RunKeeper has out the box. Not only are you able to track all types of workout activities (e.g. running, bicycling, treadmill, etc…), there are also workout regimens already banged out in the app so all you’ll have to concentrate on is the workout itself. Training for a marathon? RunKeeper has a bunch of workout types to help you reach your goals.
What’s also really special about RunKeeper is that you also have the ability to create your own workout tracker. Like say you made up a special workout that requires a timer to alert you when its time to switch things up (think: interval training), RunKeeper allows you to do that too. There are a bunch of features that the workout newbie/novice will definitely enjoy and benefit from. Plus, its real simple to use. And above all else, the reason we like best? ITS FREE!
