Conan O’Brien is scheduled to TOUR 30 Cities including the Bay Area! “The Legally Prohibited from Being Funny on Television Tour” promises to be A night of music, comedy, hugging, and the occasional awkward silence. If you’ve never had a chance to see him live (*ahem ME), or you want to go see him again, then this is your chance!

Its quite notable to mention that Conan O’Brien will NOT be seeing a penny from this tour, but instead will “work” the tour so that he may employ many of his former employess from the Tonight Show. Well ain’t that something else?!? Looking out for his peeps!

His rocket to international stardom came in 2003 with the groundbreaking “Chappelle’s Show,” a half-hour blend of sketch, stand-up and musical guests. Chappelle has also appeared in films such as “Half Baked,” “The Nutty Professor,” “Con Air,” “You’ve Got Mail” and “Blue Streak,” as well as on over 40 national television shows including numerous appearances on “The Late Show with David Letterman,” “Late Night with Conan O’Brien” and “Politically Incorrect.” He starred in his own one-hour HBO special and also in “Dave Chappelle’s Block Party,” a concert documentary directed by dreamy surrealist Michel Gondry.

Update: Hunny K and I attended the show on Feb.13, 2010 to celebrate our 5-year anniversary. The verdict? One of THE BEST comedy shows EVAR! If you get the opportunity to catch one of his stand-up routines, I Highly recommend watching Dave Chappelle!

Oh, cable television. How I miss thee. During my latchkey kid childhood, locking into the abundance of television channels made sure that I was always “kept busy.” Ah, yes Mr. TV, You were indeed a true friend. Now that I’m all growed and edumacated, I just don’t have the time to dedicate myself to you anymore. Is it because our household doesn’t have any cable? The analog box can only get so many channels. Such a tease. Like ordering a big, juicy cheeseburger and only being able to eat just the lettuce. How I wish to devour you…But I may have found a new love. Her name – the Internet.
