I know I’ve been talking about Aisis (see: Macbook Pro) for quite some time now, but I just can’t keep my hands off her! The more I play with her, the more I find myself wanting to add new features. The latest: the Targus Stylus for Apple touch-devices – makes it easy for me to take notes, draw or simply turn a page. The stylus features a durable rubber tip that won’t scratch the iPad’s surface and allows the user to type accurately and comfortably. The stylus engages directly with your electronic, touch-screen device, requires no power or software to operate and instantly works right out of the box (1). We go for a test-run to see how the Targus Stylus handles on Aisis. Let’s go:
Overall, the stylus is pretty responsive with the Macbook Pros’ multi-touch trackpad. As you can see from the video, response in Adobe Photoshop requires you to double-tap to begin and end new commands (e.g. handwriting). As with anything new, it will take some getting used to, but with practice, will prove to be an invaluable (yet simple) tool.
Verdict: Tablet is GO!
